Red Apple
This photo was taken of two red apples, slightly green, on a cutting board. Natural light was striking the objects to give a clear view of the foreground, as they were taken outside. The apple on the left become very vibrant once the rest of the picture was desaturated. Although there was a very strong glare from the sun on both apples, I used the spot healing tool to blend the spot into the rest of the apple. I think the texture of the apple provides interest in the photo because they aren't perfectly round. Old Bricks
This image is taken of the steps on my brick patio. I decided on this location because I saw the contrast in the hues and textures of the brick. I increased the contrast to make this even more visible, as well as brought back the color of the brightest red brick. There are a few petals and sticks on the platform, which adds texture to the photo. This image is symmetrical, with an even amount of bricks on the top and bottom of the step. Come Alive
This photo was taken of a red bush in my front yard. I enhanced this image by adjusting the curves setting. The selected leaves stood out to me because they were the most colorful. I liked the lighting that was reflecting off of the leaves when I took this picture. I also blurred the top left corner to give more focus on the rest of the leaves. Green

Sour Slice
This image was taken of two sliced lemons on a white plate, set on a bench outside. I only brought back the color in one of the lemons to bring contrast against the lemon adjacent to it. Contrast is also present in the white plate against the dark bench. I enhanced the photo by turning the contrast and brightness up. Also, the curves setting was adjusted to take the glare off the top of the plate. Yellow Orange
This photo captures a plate of crayons, placed on a wood bench outside. I brought back the color of the orange crayon because it was the brightest of the selected hues. I adjusted the brightness as well as the curves setting to have a greater emphasis on the one crayon. I also got up close in this image, to reduce the glare that was present from the sun. Overall, this picture has emphasis.
